Spring Travels
After (finally!)finishing my degree program at the beginning of this month, I took it upon myself to do a bit of relaxing and traveling.
I started with a 4 day stint in Providence, Rhode Island where I enjoyed some rainy days inside and out with a long lost friend. I stayed at Dolce Villa, a hip little hotel in Providence's Federal Hill. The setting was perfect for my stay, and the company I had and the fountain outside kept me smiling despite an otherwise dreary environment.
I got back late Tuesday, and left again that Thursday. It was on to Boulder, Colorado for Loren's Ultimate Nationals. They played really hard, and seemed to have a great time. The ultimate kids are a really sweet bunch, I enjoyed my time with them. I'll miss watching Loren play while she's gone.
Next month (in a couple of weeks, actually!)Loren and I are leaving for Cabo San Lucas, to spend some time relaxing with my parents. We'll be staying at Playa Grande, where my timeshare is. What fun!
Twitterings...
- You know it's been a while when you can't remember where HEB is.
- In Austin.
- @slash_Me either, and it seems most of my nights lately have been late ones!
- Loren's mac-n-cheese is bowl-licking goodness!
- Is on her way out!
